Before Emily, I was worried about all my bridal shots but Emily made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She is so genuine and she gets people. She has an intuitive nature and that shines in her work. Her work will make you feel beautiful and relaxed.

Our experience with Emily was better than I could’ve ever expected. I felt like I was in the best hands from the very first conversation. On our wedding day, Emily was so much more than a photographer. She made me feel at ease and stepped in to help in so many ways. She even pinned on corsages. The guests and wedding party noticed how amazing she was, and I’ve been happy to give her name to several people since. The pictures turned out so much better than I could've expected. I always hate pictures of myself, but I love these. Some of the natural reactions are my favorite.

For our wedding day, we wanted someone dedicated to capturing moments throughout the day that no one else may catch or think to take a photo of. I wanted someone who aligned with my style as well as someone who I could get along with well (and would get along well with bridal party/family) as this person would be close to us throughout the day.

We loved working with Emily! She made our engagement shoot so fun by asking us our favorite songs and bringing a speaker to play music so we could dance and just have fun. She was so easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of the wedding, she made things go so smoothly. The family and bridal party photos went so quickly and felt super organized and I knew the whole time I could just relax and trust Emily to take control of that time to get some awesome photos.

From the beginning, Emily listened well and gave me a vision of what my wedding day could look like from start to finish. She made me feel calm and excited about the day. Because our wedding was pared down due to the pandemic, having a face I could trust behind the camera was such a comfort. My photographer wasn't just another body in the room, but a true friend who had walked with me through the ups and downs.

I will never get tired of looking at our pictures, posting them, framing them, and showing generations (Lord willing) to come of the faithfulness of the Lord in our lives in bringing us together. Working with Emily was such a joy. The day we took engagement photos was so fun, relaxed and joyful that I was almost surprised at how many amazing photos she captured in just a couple of hours. Emily was so supportive and warm before, during, and after our wedding day. She has such a peaceful presence. Her presence is never imposing, but she is able to direct the couple and the crowd without any problem. I felt very cared for by Emily throughout the whole process. This isn't something you typically expect from a photographer, but it was such a gift!
